The Woods Core
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College’s general studies curriculum, The Woods Core, is required for all students. The Woods Core prepares students to study and work in interdisciplinary environment, while focusing on development in critical thinking, communication and values development. The completion of these courses ensure that SMWC students graduate with the skills needed to succeed in the professional environment, as well as in graduate and professional degree programs.
