National Catholic Schools Week

News | 01.30.2013

“Why do millions of parents across the country choose Catholic schools for their children,” begins a feature by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) in honor of National Catholic Schools Week.  The NCEA is the largest private professional education organization in the world, representing 200,000 Catholic educators serving 7.6 million students in Catholic elementary and secondary schools, in religious education programs, in seminaries, and in colleges and universities.

According to the NCEA, below are the top ten reasons why parents choose Catholic schools, culled from answers to surveys conducted over the years and presented the week of January 28, 2013.
