Meet the composer and learn the details behind this exciting new choral composition for women's voices, inspired by the words of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. Presented by popular young composer Sydney Guillaume and Michael Boswell, Director of Choirs at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Weather permitting, Rosemary Nudd, SP, '69 will lead participants on a 45-minute walking tour of the historic grounds of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, following the first footsteps of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and other founders. Meet between Le Fer and Hulman, north ground floor door.

2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Music Therapy at SMWC: Where Passion Meets Providence
Conservatory, Room 100

Sharon Boyle and Tracy Richardson, Ph.D., MT-BC, the SMWC Music Therapy faculty present how music therapy continues Saint Mother Theodore Guerin’s vision for service and love for music. Participants will learn about music therapy as a career, its history at The Woods, and what the future might hold for this unique profession. Participants will have opportunities to experience music therapy methods.

4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Praise and Providence: A Spring Choral Concert
Church of the Immaculate Conception

This choral concert by the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Chorale and Madrigals explores praise and providence in the role of faith. It will feature the world premiere of Sydney Guillaume's "La Providence."
