The 1840

1. The 1840
Formerly known as Sullivan Parlor, The 1840 has plenty of seating when studying alone or with a big group. Its modern features and historic-like architecture make it a great place to hit the books!

2. Mary & Bayless Butler Classroom
You can enjoy the sounds of nature while being shaded at the Butler Classroom located next to Le Fer Lake. Accommodated with Wi-Fi access and tables, you can truly embrace The Woods while hitting the books.

Learning Resource Center

3. Learning Resource Center (LRC)
Located in the Rooney Center, the LRC is one of the best places to be productive on campus! The LRC provides a quiet atmosphere to complete assignments, study for exams or get organized for the rest of the semester!

4. Woods Café
Also located in the Rooney Center, the Woods Café provides a fun yet casual environment for you to check off items on your to-do list while in a relaxing café atmosphere. Don’t forget to get yourself a cup of coffee!

Le Fer dorm room

5. Your dorm room
You can never go wrong with studying in your own space. Whether you live in Les Bois, Le Fer or The Lake House each dorm room has a desk and chair for you to knock out a good study session between classes or at any time throughout the day!

6. Les Bois Courtyard
With the vibrant colors of the beautiful mural, the Les Bois Courtyard might be the perfect fit for your study sessions. The outdoor seating provides a unique space to hold study groups, brainstorm ideas or complete a reading for class. It’s also just steps away from the Doherty Dining Center, the Market and the bookstore!

Le Fer Balcony

7. Le Fer Balcony
Found directly behind the marble stairs on the first floor of Le Fer, the balcony serves as home to many looking for a small, quiet place to study and do homework.

8. Oakley Student Center (OSC)
On the south end of the lower level of Le Fer, the OSC can be great for doing homework and taking study breaks.

9. Campus Life
Working on a project? Campus Life is the perfect meeting spot! Located on the lower level of Le Fer Hall, by the marble stairs, the space serves as a great setting to discuss small group projects, brainstorm ideas and more!

10. Outside…anywhere!
With a 311-acre campus, SMWC provides several perfect spots for a quick study session. Wanting to soak up the sun? Find a picnic table or bench located all around campus. Want to be in the shade? SMWC has numerous trees you can study underneath.  It is The Woods, after all.

Nice places. Question the 1840 "historic-like" architecture phrase! If this blog is available to everyone, then the layout should include an image for each place. For example, I was just on campus for Reunion, but I don't recall the mural that is mentioned. The marble steps should always been pictured. ETC.
