Incoming Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) freshmen and transfer students can meet with faculty and staff Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8 on campus for Priority Registration Day.
Students can get to know their faculty advisor, learn about elective and major-specific courses and set their fall schedules. Informational tables will be set up where students and their families can get their questions answered by SMWC staff. The $100 deposit fee has been waived for Fall 2022 due to COVID-19. Students need to contact the Office of Admissions to secure their spot at SMWC.
Students will receive their personal arrival time for their registered date ten days prior to the event.
FAQs
Do I need to be present for the entire event?
No, your admissions counselor will reach out to you with a personal arrival and appointment time for the event. We like to stagger arrival times in order to limit crowds at the event. Most students can complete their registration process in an hour and a half.
Will I meet with Financial Aid?
Yes, each student will have a personal meeting with financial aid and the business office.
What do I need to bring with me?
Students should bring their SMWC account and email information to the event. If you have a laptop or tablet, that may be helpful, but is not required.
Is there a virtual registration option?
Yes, we have a virtual registration option the week of April 11th. That event is open for registration.
What COVID protocols are in place?
The admission staff will stagger arrival times for all registered students. Masks are required at the event and social distancing will be in place. SMWC Staff will be cleaning and sanitizing common areas frequently.
