C.A.M.P. Go Global FAQs
- Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College was awarded the Indiana Youth Programs on Campus grant that provides the opportunity to fully cover the costs of the faculty-led study abroad component of the Go Global sessions. This will include the student’s passport fees, airfare, all meals, housing, entry fees, excursions and more.
- All Go Global courses will accept 10 students per course.
- All students who attend the on-campus Go Global course are also agreeing to attend the fully-funded, faculty-led study abroad session.
- Go Global Leaders of Positive Change will have a faculty-led study abroad on San Cristobal Island in the Galápagos Islands of Ecuador, South America, in the Fall of 2024.
- Go Global Nurses of the Future will have a faculty-led study abroad to London, England, in the Fall of 2024.
- Go Global Introduction to the Equine Industry will hold a faculty-led study abroad in Stuttgart, Germany, in the Fall of 2024.
- There will be at least three adults who attend each of the faculty-led study abroad experiences, including two from the Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College faculty and one high school teacher from an Indiana high school.
- Study abroad experiences require an assignment/project that each student will complete as part of the C.A.M.P. at The Woods course requirements. Attending both the on-campus June C.A.M.P. at The Woods session and the study abroad component is required to earn the two college credits because both aspects are needed to fulfill the course assignment/project requirements.
The details of these faculty-led study abroad trips will be further discussed during the March 20, 2024, Into C.A.M.P. the Woods meeting.
