Hometown: I grew up in Orange Park, Florida, but moved to Terre Haute, Indiana later.
1. Why did you choose to earn your degree at SMWC?
It was close to where I live now, and the community seemed close-knit.
2. Why did you choose your major?
I have always loved literature, and I’m actually presently writing a book. In a couple of years, I will be teaching English abroad.
3. What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place would have to be the lake. It looks so serene and peaceful, and it is perfect for reading or studying.
4. What have you been involved in (student clubs and organizations, sports teams, etc.) during your time at SMWC?
I used to play soccer which was amazing. I stopped due to health. I am also the manager at the front desk of Le Fer Hall and one of the academic peers in the LRC.
5. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
My favorite memory will have to be sitting at lunch and laughing with my friends to the point of tears.
6. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
It is hard to say how, other than just keeping them in my thoughts and trying to remember all the joy it brought me. Since I will be out of the country in a couple of years, maybe that is all I can do other than go to graduation reunions and stay in touch with my friends.
