What high school did you attend?
Casey-Westfield Junior-Senior High School

Majoring in Digital Marketing with a minor in Graphic Design

Why did you choose SMWC?
I chose SMWC because of the opportunity I was given to play sprint football while earning my degree simultaneously. From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew this was where I wanted to spend the next 4 years.

How would you describe SMWC?
Four letters, Home. Although I have only attended for a year, the impact SMWC has already had on me will last a lifetime.

What do you do for fun on campus?
I enjoy spending time with friends, powerlifting and spending time with the football team. If you ever need a change of scenery, there is a vast amount of places to have fun.

What do you love most about living on campus (only applies to students who live on campus)?
I enjoy being able to build relationships with people I have never met before. Living on campus you are able to be more involved. Living right next door to the gym is pretty awesome too.

How is SMWC different from other schools?
When thinking about college at a young age, you picture large classrooms with one professor lecturing to 150+ students. SMWC has small class sizes allowing you to understand your professor, and build a relationship with them. This creates an overall better experience for not only the student but the professor as well. The SMWC staff, as a whole, is very friendly and helpful.

What advice would you share with an incoming freshman or transfer student?
Take the time to build relationships with people and step outside of your comfort zone.

In a couple of statements, reflect on your time at The Woods.
My first year at SMWC has genuinely been a blast. I can already tell the impact The Woods is having on my life. Instilling healthy habits and routines that will only benefit my future endeavors. Blessed for the opportunity to be a part of this community.
