Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) recognized 46 employees for their years of service to the institution at the annual President’s Christmas Dinner. Brennan J. Randolph, MBA, president, shared how grateful he is to all employees at the College as they strive to change the students’ lives. It was a night of food, fun and fellowship for all.
“I’m very thankful to serve at a place where each employee shows up every day, ready to change a student’s life. This business isn’t easy, but seeing the results makes it worth the hard work to pour ourselves into these young people so they can be successful nurses, teachers, accountants and so on,” said Randolph.
Employees are recognized for every five years of service. Two employees, LuAnn Malone and Jennie Mitchell, were recognized for 35 years of service.
“LuAnn is held in high regard and has won the quarterly staff award as well as the Carolyn J. Mock Employee of the Year award during her time here. She is known for remembering details about the students, alumni, faculty and staff. She treats everyone with much kindness and consideration. LuAnn is a conscientious, hard-working employee that Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College has been blessed to have these 35 years,” Randolph shared.
Jennie Mitchell, Ph.D., emerita professor and adjunct faculty at SMWC was also honored for 35 years of service.
