The Post-Master’s FNP Certificate program requires 24 credit hours of coursework and 500 clinical hours. It is designed according to the educational guidelines of the American Association of Colleges in Nursing and The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. Accreditation

The master’s degree program in nursing and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Master of Science in Nursing and Post-Master’s FNP Certificate Programs will be reviewed for re-accreditation September 18-20, 2024 by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Interested parties may submit written comments concerning Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Graduate Nursing Program’s qualifications for accreditation. Written third-party comments will be received by CCNE until 21 days before the accreditation visit. All comments must be received by CCNE no later than August 28, 2024.

All third-party comments submitted to the CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English. Only author-identified (signed) comments will be accepted by CCNE. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team but does not share the comments with the program during the review process. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to accreditation standards.
