People can tell you how great a place is, but the best way to know whether it’s right for you is to see it — and experience it — for yourself. Over 25 families from all across the state of Indiana experienced Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College for themselves at Explore Your Future Day on July 26, 2012.
The day began with a warm welcome from Dottie King, Ph.D., president; Janet Clark, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs; and Beth Terrell, vice president for enrollment management.
The program provided insights into the benefits of a Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College education including:
- Big leadership opportunities.
- Strong academics to match your career goals.
- The value of a women’s education which:
- Creates leaders, communicators and persuaders.
- Develops critical thinking skills beyond graduation.
- And more!
Students and their families learned about academic offerings, scholarships and financial aid, and explored the beautiful campus on walking tours. Students also participated in an exciting, fast-paced scavenger hunt.
