Justin Panico has been named admission counselor at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) with the primary focus on student recruitment in the Indianapolis area.
As the admission counselor, Panico will work to develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet and exceed SMWC’s enrollment and retention goals for undergraduate and graduate students. He will concentrate these efforts in Indianapolis enhancing relationships with high school guidance counselors, alumni and businesses to aid in the recruitment of students.
“I am excited to contribute to the mission and the growth of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College,” said Panico. “It is an honor and a privilege to serve at an institution with a long standing history and passion to help students achieve their educational goals.”
With 10 years of experience in the education industry, Panico specializes in admissions, recruitment and onboarding, retention, marketing and organizational operations. He previously served in leadership roles at Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Harrison College and Ross Medical Education Center.
Announcing the appointment, Brennan Randolph, vice president for enrollment management said, “Justin’s expertise in the areas of enrollment management and communications presents a unique skill set that will help propel our recruitment efforts in Indianapolis, one of our most competitive markets.”
Panico holds a master of arts in adult and community education and bachelor of arts in telecommunications sales and marketing from Ball State University.
