Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) will host two open houses in November to provide the community with an opportunity to learn more about two programs designed for busy professionals looking to take their careers to new heights: Woods Online and Master of Leadership Development. These programs are for professionals of all backgrounds and experiences, from first time college students to returning students.
Woods Online is an opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree entirely online. The program offers flexible schedules, 8-week and 16-week formats, accessible professors, online tutoring and learning approaches specifically designed for adult students.
The one-year, online hybrid Master of Leadership Development (MLD) program is a distinguished alternative to the typical MBA. It confronts the critical areas of leadership, team effectiveness, power and relationships, strategic planning, influencing with authority and communication. Students choose from four focus areas: not-for profit, financial, organizational and individual leadership.
Learn more about these programs at one of the open information sessions in November. On Nov. 7, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m., representatives will be at the Bouncin’ Barn. Prospective students can bring their children to this informational event. The children can play while the prospective student talks with SMWC staff about the programs. There will be a live remote from MIX-FM, and free admission, pizza and giveaways.
Additionally, prospective students will discover another opportunity to learn more about Woods Online and Master of Leadership Development at the newly renovated Indiana Theater on Nov. 21, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m.
