1. Why did you choose to earn your degree at SMWC?
I chose Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College because I like how close campus is to home. I also knew I wanted to attend a smaller college because that is what I am used to.
2. Why did you choose your major?
Being a teacher has always been a dream of mine. I have always known that I wanted to be able to help and teach children. I love watching them learn and grow into who they are.
3. What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the Book Nook. It is a great place to go do homework while surrounded by other education majors.
4. What have you been involved in (student clubs and organizations, sports teams, etc.) during your time at SMWC?
I have been involved in helping the Education Department put on different events. We had several events where students from surrounding elementary schools would come to campus. We did different activities with them. My favorite event was the egg drop.
5. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
My favorite memory I have of my Woods experience is Ring Day. It was a thrill to be a part of an ongoing SMWC tradition.
6. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
I plan to stay connected to SMWC after I graduate by keeping in touch with my professors and telling my students about SMWC.
