The Omega Pi chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) recently inducted new members.
Family and friends gathered in the Ariens Atrium of the Jeanne Knoerle Sports and Recreation Center to see 19 inductees receive a membership certificate and a membership pin and witness each inductee sign their name in the membership record.
Inductees this year are these Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students:

The featured speaker was Christine Delnat, Ph.D., MPH, program director for BSN and associate professor of nursing at SMWC. In her remarks, she told the group of students, “Today we honor your scholarship and welcome you into this prestigious organization. We celebrate your school leadership and service.” The chapter has continued to grow since it was first established in 2017. Invitation to become a member is based on academic achievement.
