SMWC Welcomes New SMTG Cohort

News | 09.26.2024

As the highest award for academic excellence, service and faith, the Saint Mother Theodore Guerin (SMTG) Scholarship at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) goes to exceptional applicants.

In addition to maintaining a GPA of 3.2 or higher, SMTG scholars are expected to complete a number of service hours each semester. To be selected for the scholarship, students must submit an application and essay and complete an interview process on the SMWC campus.

“In honor of our foundress and her dedication to education, SMWC is investing in our future leaders through this scholarship opportunity. SMTG scholars are not only recognized for their academic excellence but also for their leadership and community engagement. Scholars are held to high academic standards and responsibilities, that will instill life-long skills they will use beyond their Woods journey,” said Darla Hopper ’12MLD, FAAC, vice president for enrollment management.
